Frances Palmer exhibit at the Berkshire Botanical Garden

From August 15-October 5, the work of potter, gardener and photographer , Frances Palmer, will be on display at Berkshire Botanical Garden’s Leonhardt Galleries. Palmer’s work has appeared in The New York Times Style Magazine, Vogue, House & Garden, and Veranda, and is held in collections worldwide. She is the author of “Life in the Studio” and “Life with Flowers: Inspiration and Lessons from the Garden.”
The exhibition pairs her handmade vessels, some arranged with blooms grown at Berkshire Botanical Garden, with platinum palladium and color photographs that capture the fleeting beauty of nature. “The pottery and the flowers are the two halves of my earthly paradise,” Palmer says. “I honestly can’t imagine one without the other.”

Take A Walk in Nature for Inspiration
Join Jane Manley, board chair of the Warren Public Library and recently retired arts educator, for morning walk on an easy-to-navigate nature trail maintained by the Warren Land Trust.
